Kim McMahon, Office Administrator

Bove & Langa, P.C.

Years in field: I have only been working in the field of law for 2 ½ years.

What do you most enjoy about your job? I enjoy the diversity of the work. In a small firm I think all administrators are a Jack/Jill of all trades. Not only am I responsible for the day to day operations, the financial wellness and all things administrative, I plan all of our firm’s many staff events. There’s never a dull moment.

What is your biggest challenge at work? When I began at Bove & Langa, I knew very little about the law and law firms. The transition was quite challenging. Who knew that there were so many different Bar Associations?

When you're not at work, you like to…? I really enjoy hiking and try to do it at least once a weekend. I am also learning to play the classical violin and mandolin, it is very amusing.

Favorite T.V. Show?  Right now, I am hooked on the British Police Dramas. So,

I’ve been watching Inspectors Morse & Lewis, some George Gently and Luther all on BBC America.

Last Book Read:  Justin Cronin’s The Passage and The Twelve. These are books one and two of a trilogy, book 3 won’t be released until next year, so I may have to start over.
