During 2007 the membership committee implemented a “partial year” rate plan, updated the exit interview questionnaire to aid our understanding of why someone does not renew there ALA membership, researched, proposed and received board approval for a chapter marketing item, a flash drive with the chapters logo on one side and the website on the other. The flash drives were passed out to members at the One Day Educational Conference in November at the membership table. If you were not able to attend the educational conference be sure to stop by the check-in table during the January monthly chapter luncheon to pick-up yours.
The membership committee has also been hard at work with the 2008 renewals and will begin working on the 2008 Membership directory in a few weeks. Also on our 2008 to-do list is a membership drive to identify non-member firms in the Massachusetts legal community, multi-firm discounts, referral rewards and as always member outreach.
