Community Relations

This year’s theme for the Community Relations Committee is Making Connections. Throughout the year, the Committee will facilitate several events with the objective of helping our members and business partners make connections with local charities.
                          
We start the year with a charity raffle at the June 21st golf outing.  Attendees will have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets for a great prize while knowing that the proceeds will go to  Finex House, a shelter for battered women and their children who have disabilities. 
 
Later this summer, we are looking for up to 50 volunteers to help sort food at The Greater Boston Food Bank on Wednesday, August 24th from 5:30 to 8:00 pm.  This is an extremely well run organization that depends on volunteer support throughout the year to help get food to those in need.  We can help make that connection by providing the manpower needed for this evenings worth of work.
 
Our Community Relations Committee will be meeting monthly throughout the year to come up with additional ideas on how our membership and business partners can make connections with our local community.  If you have ideas, please feel free to reach out to any member of the Community Relations Committee because our success as an organization depends on everyone's participation.
