President's Message

Volunteer, Webster's Dictionary defines it as "a person who voluntarily undertakes a service or duty".  Our chapter is blessed with an abundance of great volunteers.  It is what gives our chapter the "backbone" to accomplish all the goals that we have set.

arrow Save the Date!!!
The annual ALA-Boston Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday June 1, 2006 at the Sheraton Ferncroft Resort in Danvers. The day is geared to golfers of all levels so don't be afraid to give it a try. Lunch will be at noon with golf starting at 1:00 PM. If you can't make the golf portion of the day try to attend dinner at 6:00 PM. Invitations will be in the mail shortly. If you have any questions contact Paul Masuret.

The purpose of Business Interruption coverage is to indemnify the firm for losses arising from the inability to continue normal operations and functions due to an event covered under the policy.  These losses include loss of business income and extra expenses that the firm would not have otherwise incurred if the “covered event/peril” had not taken place.. ALA Professional Code of Ethics
The legal profession and business must adhere to high ethical standards to maintain public trust. This ALA Code of Professional Ethics sets forth guidelines or standards for the ethical administration of legal practices — private firms, legal clinics, corporate legal departments, governmental agencies and the courts.
