Leading a Change in the D&I Conversation within Law Firms:  What if we start with Inclusion?

Tricia Hennessy will lead us in a discussion around the idea of shifting the conversation we have been having within the legal profession.  For years now, we have been talking about diversity – how various aspects of identity are represented, or not, within our firms.  What if we decided to start the conversation with questions like:

  • Are we doing what we can to move our firm towards inclusion - a work environment where everyone thrives, can be themselves and do their best work?
  • Am I looking for opportunities within my firm to create equity - an intentional effort to address imbalances and ensure that all people have access to opportunities?
  • Am I modeling the traits of an inclusive leader?

From that base, we will discuss strategies to move forward to bring about the change we have been talking about for so long and respond to audience questions on the topic.
