Happy Holidays!  Help the Boston Chapter bring holiday cheer to the city’s homeless youth and young adults!  This holiday season the Chapter is once again partnering with Bridge Over Troubled Waters in organizing a “Stuff a Backpack” Drive!

The Chapter has purchased backpacks and needs your help to stuff them with critical supplies.  Please visit the wish-list to purchase pre-selected items for the backpacks.  The deadline to order online is December 9th. Purchased supplies will be delivered to the Chapter for a festive “Stuff a Backpack” Social to be held on Monday, December 16, from 5-6:30 PM at the offices of Cesari and McKenna, LLP. To sign up for the stuffing social, please register here.

The Community Engagement Committee will be on hand at the Chapter’s Quarterly Event on December 5th to collect any additional cash donations for the drive.  If you are unable to purchase supplies or donate, we still encourage you to join us on the 16th for the Stuffing Social!

Bridge Over Troubled Waters’ mission is to provide effective and innovative services to run away, homeless and high-risk youth, help youth avoid a lifetime of dependency on social services, guide youth towards self-sufficiency, and enable youth to transform lives and build fulfilling, meaningful futures. Click here  for more information.

For questions about the backpack drive, please contact Tim Hardin, VP Community Engagement.
