Call for Nominations

We are pleased to announce the Nominating Committee election process is officially underway! In accordance with the Chapter Bylaws, as the immediate Past President, Kathleen Crowley will serve as the Chair of the Nominating Committee and Chris O’Sullivan will act as the Board Appointed Representative. As a five-member Nominating Committee, the three remaining spots will be filled by eligible Boston Chapter ALA Members.

Members will vote and elect the three nominees to serve on this Committee. If you are interested in nominating yourself or another member, please email Kathleen Crowley or call 617-778-6321 no later than Friday, October 27th. The list of eligible and willing nominees will be announced at the November 9th luncheon and via email to all Chapter Members prior to the opening of the electronic voting process. Once the nominees have been announced, an email will be sent so Chapter Members can review the qualifications and objectives for each nominated individual.

Who is Eligible? In order to be considered for the Nominating Committee, the individual must be a Regular Member as defined by the Chapter Bylaws and must have been a member of the Boston Chapter ALA for at least one year. A member of the Nominating Committee may not be considered for any Board position for the upcoming year. 

Electronic Voting will open November 10th and will close November 17th at 5:00 pm.
