Mission Statement of the Community Engagement Committee
The Community Engagement Committee's mission is to advance the joint efforts of the Boston Chapter membership and their Business Partners to enhance the understanding of our roles in the legal community while promoting the greater good. The Community Engagement Committee specifically seeks better exposure of the Boston Chapter ALA to the greater legal community, as well as to enhance our own member awareness of the needs of our local community. Typically, this will be achieved by selecting one or two non-profit organizations, analyzing their needs and working together as an organization to best support these organizations. As a Committee, we will coordinate these charitable working events as well as social networking events in an effort to build a strong relationship between our Chapter Members, Business Partners and the broader community.
