2019 Boston Chapter ALA Membership Renewal
Thank you for helping to make the ALA Boston Chapter such a valuable organization for our Members. We invite you to continue your involvement with our Chapter by renewing your membership for the upcoming year.
Firm location: Since many Chapter activities take place in Boston, we recognize that those outside the Boston area may not be able to participate as often. The membership rates for Members outside of Boston are therefore lower.
Boston Chapter ALA Membership rates:
Standard Dues: Regular or Associate Membership
(law firms, corporate law departments, colleges/universities)
Renew before December 31, 2018 and receive the $50 early-bird discount. Your membership will be valid, subject to continued eligibility, through December 31 of the renewal year.
Non-profit or Government Dues: Regular or Associate Membership
(non-profit organizations, government legal departments/offices, judicial agencies/courts)
Your membership will be valid, subject to continued eligibility, through December 31 of the renewal year.
|Part-time or Full-time Students in any degree program at an accredited institution of higher learning are eligible for ALA Student Membership.(Transcript required at time of application and annually at renewal. Maximum of four student membership terms allowed. Ineligible for student rate if employed in full-time, exempt position.)
Dues are based on the calendar year – January 1 through December 31. Memberships that begin in January through November will expire December 31 of the year applied. ALA Boston Chapter membership is not issued to organizations and is not transferable from one individual to another. Membership dues are non-refundable.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to remain a member of the ALA Boston Chapter, you must also renew your ALA International membership in addition to paying your local Chapter dues.
